Birmingham Children’s Theater
Imagine Outside the Box
PreK – 2nd grade
$100 per session
• Campers will receive a box filled with everything they need to create their own themed play at home
• Miss Becca will video call each morning to check in with activities and lessons

June 1 – June 12
Virtual Disney’s Jungle Book, KIDS Musical Theatre Camp with ArtPlay
Ages 7 – 12
9 AM – 3:30 PM
• Daily lessons in dance, music, acting, and more
• Students will use Disney’s Jungle Book, KIDS as a springboard to learn all about what the theatre has to offer

Virtual Disney’s Frozen, KIDS Musical Theatre Camp with ArtPlay
Ages 7 – 12
9 AM – 3:30 PM
• This virtual camp will provide daily lessons in dance, music, acting, and more
• Students will use Disney’s Frozen, KIDS as a springboard to learn all about what the theatre has to offer
• Snack and lunch breaks will be taken between time

June 22 – 26, July 13 – 17, July 27 – 31
Virtual Visual Arts Camp with ArtPlay
Ages 7 – 12
9 AM – 3 PM
$200 per week
• If you’re buying your own supplies, cost of camp is $175
• If you pay the full amount, supplies are provided and a scheduled pick-up date will be available at the ArtPlay House
• Camp offers classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, and more
• Camp ends with your own art show

Red Mountain Theatre
Ages 4 – 6
9 – 10 AM, 1 – 2 PM
$50 per week
• Budding artists will be able to let their imaginations run wild while exploring theatrical storytelling
• Virtual classes will be no larger than 10 participants to ensure proper engagement
• Each weeks stories and activities are based on a different book

$100 per week
• All elements of musical theatre come together online during this week long camp
• Students will have the opportunity to shine by memorizing lines and singing and dancing their way through a story
• Each week covers a different script

• This is a fun camp for students interested in exploring their imaginations and creativity around a given theme
• Each week offers a different theme (Hogwarts, Star Wars)

Gross Out Camp Sessions

Vulcan Park: 9 weeks – June and July – Non-members: $300, Members: $265
Trussville Athletic Center: June 15 – July 31 – Non-members: $275 per week, Members: $240 per week
The Village at Cook Springs: July 13 – 17 – Non-members: $275, Members: $240
• Camp will be outside where it is safer
• Temperatures will be checked
• Groups will be kept small (Groups of 10 max of 20 total)
• Camp will maintain social distancing
• Gallons of 80% alcohol hand sanitizer will be on hand
• Campers will enjoy hands-on field biology with experiments, lessons in nature, and more

Now – July 31
Kidcam Summer Camp
Oak Mountain State Park
Ages 5 – 13
9 – 3 PM
$145 per week plus $100 registration fee

• Due to COVID-19, camp is at 25% occupancy limitations and recommends purchasing summer camp weeks in advance
• No offsite field trips will be taken
• Campers and staff will receive daily temperature checks
• Hand washing and sanitation will now be part of daily schedule
• Free before care starting at 7 AM; After care available for $2/half hour until 6 PM
• Campers will enjoy most of the usual activities like arts & crafts, playing games in small groups, and more
• Activities like the petting farm and wildlife center will be dependent on availability

Summer Camps
Aldridge Gardens
Kindergarten – 5th Grade
9 AM – 12 PM

Family level members: $120 per camp, Non-members: $140 per camp
• Lesson plans are changing to avoid togetherness
• Campers will feed turtles and fish with pool noodles, children will sit at opposite ends of 6 foot tables, car pool system is being implemented to keep everyone in cars during drop-off/pick-up
• Camps have been cut from 4 to 2 each week, with 20 children max per camp; camp will be held under the Pavilion
• Camp is stocked with disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer, Pavilion restroom for camp use only
• All snacks will be individually packaged or children can bring own
• Masks are up to individual – no temperatures will be taken – no testing is required
• Children will receive supplies in personal baggie they will use all week, which will be disinfected every weekend for next group
• Enrollment is limited and pre-registration is required
• Camp themes include American Girl Dolls, Myth Busters, and Engineering

June 15 – July 31
Camp McWane
McWane Science Center
1st – 8th grade
9 AM – 4 PM
Non-members: $335 per week, Members: $285 per week
• Temperatures of all staff, volunteers, and campers will be taken daily
• Staff and volunteers will wear masks at all times, campers will wear masks except when seated in a classroom modified for social distancing
• Distribution of supplies, pick-up/drop-off procedures, and before/after care programs have been changed to ensure safety

June 15 – August 14
LJCC Day Camp
Levite Jewish Community Center
Kindergarten – 8th grade
9 AM – 3:45 PM

J-Elite: $213 per week, J-Plus: $241 per week, J-Classic: $256 per week, Community: $284 per week
• LJCC is only offering Day Camps. All Sports and Specialty Campshave been cancelled due to COVID-19
• Campers will be spending a lot of time outdoors
• Camp will still have science/STEM, sports (following guidelines), music, and arts & crafts.
• Beginning June 15th, each small group will swim twice a week
• LJCC staff has been trained to accommodate new guidelines and recommendations and have implemented all best/better practices of the CDC guidelines
o CDC health screenings daily for members and staff, social distancing, wearing a mask, using hand sanitizer, thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing overnight
