The New Medela Baby Collection Features a Full Line of Pacifiers
Medela, the trusted breast pump brand, has just launched a line of pacifiers called Medela Baby. As part of the company’s commitment to supporting women and babies throughout the breastfeeding journey, Medela has expanded its offerings with Medela Baby, a new baby care category line that features a full range of pacifiers geared toward infants through 18 months and beyond.
The pacifiers in the Medela Baby Collection were developed in collaboration with midwives, dentists, speech therapists, lactation experts, and ergonomists to ensure the optimal size, form, weight and characteristics for ideal tongue, lip and jaw movement. Each pacifier features exclusive SensoPearls™ for a gentle-on-skin feel and enhanced airflow, as well as a light and ergonomic shield to fit the contour of baby’s face.
The pacifiers are made in Switzerland from food-grade silicone, ensuring the collection meets the highest safety, design and quality standards. It goes hand in hand with Medela’s research-based commitment to supporting breastfeeding mothers and their babies.
The Medela Baby Collection includes four styles of pacifiers:
Supports natural suckling with a one-piece super soft, lightweight and flexible design. Inspired by Medela’s Contact Nipple Shield, it is shaped to fit under the nose to not interfere with breathing and smelling the comforting scent of the mother.
The smallest and lightest design, this pacifier was developed for babies under two months of age and features an extra light and small symmetrical teat to fit smaller babies’ mouth. It is made of very soft and flexible silicone, allowing baby to easily squeeze at this early stage of tongue and muscle development.
The perfect everyday pacifier, available in 3 sizes (0-6 months, 6-18 months, and 18+ months), and in a variety of designs. A study shows that this pacifier was accepted by 9 out of 10 babies.
