The ACTT Workshop is specially designed to empower Black women to advocate for themselves in healthcare settings. Gain the skills to advocate for yourself and others in medical settings. Led by Jessica A. Ansah, MPH and Khadejah Stegall with The Black Coalition for Safe Motherhood.
The Black Coalition for Safe Motherhood (BCFSM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving Black maternal health through healthcare advocacy and holistic community support. Founded by Drs. Leslie Farrington and Laurie Zephyrin, both Black obstetricians.
This workshop will equip you with practical tools to ask the right questions, claim your space, and ensure your voice is heard. Whether you’re preconception, pregnant, or supporting a loved one, this is your chance to practice and build confidence in navigating the healthcare system.
