Southern Doula Services is a full-service doula agency servicing the greater Nashville area. Our certified doulas provide support and guidance as families welcome their newborns home. We are here to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible for the whole family. Our signature night shift includes 10 hours of support so that you and your family can get the restorative rest you need. We support nursing moms and bottle-fed babies and can tailor the support to your individual needs. This individualized approach contributes to the success of our clients and sets us apart in the Franklin and Nashville area. As a wife and mother of four, I know first-hand how challenging motherhood can be. It is messy, exhausting, crazy, sleepless, AND beautiful.
Our team of postpartum doulas is here to help you welcome your newborn home. In addition to our signature night shift, we provide daytime postpartum support. This support includes supporting families both physically and emotionally.
A day shift might include light household chores, running errands, organizing baby items, listening to mom’s concerns, and providing education and support to address things as they arise. In addition to our postpartum support, we also have a certified sleep consultant to help once the baby moves beyond the on-demand schedule. We use gentle techniques to teach babies and toddlers three months and up how to independently fall asleep. We provide both virtual and in-home support. Southern Doula Services is here to support families day and night.
