Having a baby around provides so much joy but as they continue to grow, it can be hard to keep them entertained and find ways to promote their development. And when we say hard, we mean hard. It can be stressful searching the Internet hoping to find anything that will be fun for your baby or toddler. In most cases, mommy and me classes are a perfect solution. They allow you to go out and socialize with other parents while your little one gets to have some fun designed just for them.
Luckily, there are plenty of different mommy and me classes available around the rocket city for you to check out and enjoy. Ranging from art to music to exercise, there’s something for every parent and child to enjoy. So, check them out below and find the one(s) best for you!
Mommy and Me Classes Round-Up
Seeds to Sprouts is for children 2 to 5 years old. In the class, you and your child will enjoy different stories, learning activities, and walks in the Garden. Classes are held on select Fridays from 10 – 11 AM in the Anderson Education Center Classroom. It’s $8 for the first child and $5 for each additional sibling. Artnasium offers two different mommy and me art classes depending on the age of your child.
The Baby Michelangelo class is for infants to 2 years old. It allows little ones to explore the studio safely while you connect with other moms. It’s from 9 – 9:40 AM and costs $10.
The Van Gogh on the Go class is for children 18 months to 3 years old. It allows your little one to get messy and explore art while working on their early art skills. This class is also $10.

Baby/Toddler Music Classes are for babies 6 to 36 months. It brings the benefits of music to your child through musical participation and piano-based activities, which will help with cognitive development, language development, and more. There is a $30 application, $60 material fee, and a recurring $40 monthly tuition due when signing up. You can click here to get signed up.
Musical Tots Classes are for children 14 to 36 months. These classes have movement activities that help with coordination, body awareness, and body control. It will also enhance your child’s musical aptitude, establish a foundation for singing, and lay the foundation for singing and vocal development. This class meets weekly for 30 minutes. Beats & Beethoven offers several different child music classes based on age that help introduce your child to the joy of making music. You and your little one will be introduced to musical concepts in a fun environment through folk songs, children’s songs, and more. Beethoven’s Babes is for ages 6 to 18 months, Toddlers in Treble is for ages 18 months to 3 years, Mini Mozarts is for ages 18 months to 4 years, and Preschoolers with Pitch is for ages 3 to 5 years. All classes are $45 a month.
The Music Together Babies Class is just for babies 8 months and younger. The class encourages musical responses in your baby through songs and activities. You’ll have fun playing together and you’ll have the opportunity to meet other moms. Classes meet once a week for 45 minutes and lasts for a 9 week period. You’ll have to pay a $40 registration fee and $155 for the class to sign up.
Parent and Child Classes at The Little Gym are for children 4 months to 3 years old. They help promote early development like coordination, motor skill development, language development, sharing, and more. Tinkergarten offers two different classes depending on how old your child is. The babies class for children 6 to 18 months provides a safe space for babies to play in nature while working on their development. The class for children 18 months to 8 years old will help them explore, problem solve, communicate, and work together in the great outdoors. Stroller Strides is a total body workout designed for moms with kids in tow. It’s a 60-minute workout including strength training, cardio, and core restoration, all while entertaining your little one with songs, activities, and fun. You can check out the upcoming schedule here to get enrolled.
