Stop by City Harbor at Lake Guntersville on November 30, 6 PM for the annual Christmas tree lighting. Hot chocolate and Santa Claus will be there, so bring your camera!

DECEMBER 1

North Pole Stroll
Athens Big Spring Memorial Park

The event is open to everyone who wants to come out and enjoy being with their loved ones at the park while decorating trees to your design. There are a variety of sizes available so that everyone can participate in this event. The theme this year is “A Christmas in Candyland.”

DECEMBER 2

City of Arab Christmas in the Park
Arab City Park

The City of Arab and the Arab Parks and Recreation Department are again sponsoring Christmas in the Park. Christmas in the Park will be open every night, starting at dusk and ending at 9:30 PM, weather permitting. It’s a walk-through wonderland that is free to the public.

DECEMBER 2

Greater Ardmore Chamber Tinsel Trail

The Greater Ardmore Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2022 Greater Ardmore Chamber Tinsel Trail. The trail will be fun to get in the holiday spirit and experience all Ardmore offers. It’s also an excellent way for business owners to get out of their stores and meet new customers. The tree lighting will start around 5:30 PM.

DECEMBER 2

Redstone Family and MWR Holiday Market and Tree Lighting Ceremony
Redstone Arsenal Activity Field

As if there aren’t enough holiday events and get-togethers, Redstone Arsenal once again hosts the annual Redstone Family Holiday Market and Tree Lighting Ceremony. This year’s event will be held at the Activity Field (Gate 10, Patton Road). Admission to the event is free, though a donation of a non-perishable food item or unwrapped toy is requested. This year’s festivities will feature a Holiday Market, entertainment including local bands, Kidz Zone, Home Depot Santa’s Workshop, and more!

Bridge Street Holiday Light Show

City Harbor is getting ready for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. This year, bigger and better than ever, through a holiday-themed light show at the Christmas tree near Cinemark. The event will start around 8:00 in the evening.
