Join me in beautiful Crockett Park in Brentwood, TN for an afternoon of painting and yoga!
Who is my host?
Hello! My name is Autumn.
I will be your host as we have fun combining the creativity of painting with the joyful movement of yoga! I am a 200HR registered yoga instructor and Nashville native. I love sharing the joy of both painting and yoga with others!
What should I expect?
A 1-hour yoga session during which we each complete our own unique, abstract painting (or other type of painting if that’s what you would prefer!)
30 minutes are provided after the yoga flow to allow participants time to complete any touches to their artwork they would like.
What will the yoga be like?
The style of yoga will be hatha yoga. The intensity of the yoga session will be adjusted to best serve the needs/desires of the particular group.
What should I bring/wear?
-Wear clothing in which you will be comfortable doing yoga and don’t mind possibly getting paint on
-Be sure to bring plenty of water!
-Bring whatever sun protection you might need (sunscreen, protective clothing, etc.)
-Your ticket (a virtual ticket or photo of your ticket is fine)
-A small towel to wipe your mat in case of sweating.
-Your creativity!
What’s provided?
-12 colors of acrylic paint available for you next to your mat on a plate with enough space for color mixing
-2 paintbrushes of different sizes
-1 painting canvas (size will be a configuration between 6″x6″ and 14″x14″)
-1 yoga mat to use during the class
-1 cup with water for rinsing brushes
What else should I expect/know?
We will meet by the covered area and children’s play area. (After turning onto Volunteer Pkwy from Crockett Rd, take the third right available to you. You will be turning into a parking lot with the covered and play area on the other side of the lot.) See photo at the bottom for map view of location.
There will be a waiver for you to sign before we begin. I will send you an electronic waiver for you to sign before the event.
The event will begin promptly, so please arrive to the park a few minutes early to allow time to find a parking spot and connect with the group.
What about weather?
If within 2-hours of the event rain or storms are predicted to take place during the event, the event will be cancelled. If this happens, email me at nashvilleeventsyoga@gmail.com. I will get your ticket transferred to a different day.
Host Illness/Injury
If I, through illness or injury, become unable to host the event, your ticket will be refunded.
