The City of Homewood and Homewood Parks and Rec invite you to The Homewood 4th of July Festival. We hope you’ll join us for fun and fireworks on 18th street.
Downtown Homewood is one of the best locations in the entire metro Birmingham area to view the “Thunder on the Mountain” fireworks show that Vulcan Park provides. All activities will end at the beginning of the fireworks display
Two blocks of 18th Street South & One block of 29th Ave South will be blocked for pedestrian traffic in downtown Homewood to make way for rides and attractions. There will be a combination of inflatables/rides placed in the streets for children of all ages. A DJ will also provide music.
The event opens to the general public at 5pm.
You can purchase an Unlimited attractions wristband for rides and attractions for $10. You can purchase your wristband at the tent located near the intersection of 18th Street South and 29th Avenue South.
