Previously known as Homeschool Days, we are opening our seasonal programs to all members of the community! Hands-on Harvest will take place on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 10 am – 3 pm. Step back in time to 1800s Tennessee to experience the way those living on the frontier welcomed Autumn. Families are encouraged to bring picnic lunches. You can enjoy:
- Viewings of the 1807 Harding Cabin.
- Hands-on crafts and activities including butter-churning, wool-carding, pioneer games, laundry, and more!
- Demonstrations by local artisans and craftsmen
- Access to all 30-acres of Belle Meade Historic Site *guided tours of the property and Mansion are not included, but can be purchased at an additional cost
Our hands-on seasonal programs require timed, ticketed entry. Advanced ticket purchase is highly recommended, but a limited number of walk-up tickets will be available on site. For homeschool families with unused, transferable Homeschool Day tickets, those tickets will still be honored. Please email education@visitbellemeade.com to redeem.
