Come enjoy the wonders of nature and celebrate with us as we grow! A New Leaf School of Nashville is proud to present our annual Budding Branches Festival on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
This woodland celebration is a gathering of school and community focused on the beauty of nature and what it offers us at our future Overall Creek Arboretum.
Bring the whole family to play in the forest, hike among the sycamores and maples, dig into nature-based playscapes, and so much more. We will enjoy music from talented Blair School of Music musicians, goat cuddling, and an exhibition of skill with Turnbull Creek Falconry.
Other activities include arts and crafts with found materials, building architectural structures and forts with branches, a zip line, face painting, drum circles, food roasting, and more. Sack lunches, snacks, and beverages will also be available.
Proceeds from this magical annual event will go to A New Leaf PTO’s fundraiser to establish a public arboretum protecting the forest’s ecosystem, grow community outreach and opportunities, expand our outdoor education programs for preschool to grade 4, and build outdoor learning spaces and indoor classrooms at our new campus.
Food and activities are included with admission. This community event hosted by A New Leaf PTO takes place at our 32-acre forest campus at 7520 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN, 37209. Rain or shine!
Tickets are $22 for adults and $12 for children in advance; $27 for adults and $17 for children at the gate. Children under 2 are free.
