Benefits of Balanced Plant Selection

August 19 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT

Four Season Garden Summer 21 1ygoB9.tmp

@

Four Season Garden Summer 21

Homeowners have many choices of plants for residential landscapes.
Making good choices when selecting plants can benefit the property owner,
pollinators, and wildlife. This course will increase homeowners’ knowledge of
native plants and their uses around the home. Participants will gain insight
into finding a balance when using ornamental and naturalized species, as well
as avoiding pesky invasive plants. Following the classroom session, the group
will tour selected areas of the Garden and connect to plants that can work in
home landscapes. Appropriate shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellant are
recommended for making the walk more comfortable.

Capacity is limited, so reserve your spot today!

Additional Information: This class will take place in person at the
Huntsville Botanical Garden. Attendees will enter the Guest Center and check in
