Cole’s Christmas Tree Farm is a choose-and-cut farm with several different types of trees to pick from. They grow Leyland Cypress, Murray Cypress, Carolina Sapphires, and Virginia Pines. They also offer fresh-cut Fraser Firs that are grown in North Carolina. To add an exceptional experience, they also offer hayrides, hot chocolate, and coffee.

Each tree purchase will receive a free ornament while supplies last—a variety of trees, from Murray X (similar to Leyland Cyprus to white pines, are available.

The Mountain Scouts Tree Sale has been in operation since 1959. The sale raises funds for Boy Scout Troops in the over-the-mountain area by selling trees to the public from lots in Vestavia, Hoover, and Homewood. The sale is run by volunteers, the Scouts, and their parents.

They accept cash, credit cards (with a convenience fee), and checks (with identification). All trees have price tags. If it doesn’t have one, it’s not for sale.
