This camp consists of several activities such as classes in music literature, theory, and ensemble, four private 30-minute lessons, practice time, and group activities during our opening and closing sessions. Tuition for this program includes a T-shirt and all ensemble music. Campers are required to bring their lunch bag.

Art Studio for Teens

Campers will have the chance to get creative and explore different mediums to hone their artistic abilities. They can work with paint, pencil, clay, and glass through planning and project-based learning to create 2D and 3D art.

Strings Camp
Samford Academy of the Arts
Ages 8 – 13

Strings Camp is a week-long program designed to allow violin, viola, and cello students to learn and play music with fellow musicians. During the camp, campers will be engaged in daily private lessons, chamber ensemble groups, whole group rehearsals, and classes that cover music theory and literature. All the hard work will culminate in a grand final performance at the end of the camp.

Bulldog Art Camp

Campers will work with paint, graphite, clay, paper, and more to make works of art. They will learn about the visual components of color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value while experimenting with different mediums.
