It’s a rite of passage for many Birmingham babies to be fitted for their first pair of walking shoes at Sikes, and the cute options are endless, from mini sneakers to the timeless Southern favorite, the hard-sole white sandal or high-top. Sikes Shoes is one of the few children’s shoe stores that still have on-site specialists to measure your child’s feet to ensure the best fit. This boutique has been in business since the 1950s and is family-owned and operated.
