The 50th Annual Birmingham Alabama Boat Show will showcase a wide variety of boats, from small fishing boats to large yachts. Special attractions during the show include the Outboard Drag Boat Association and the StormTeam Weather Alert Unit – a modified SUV with the latest weather technology. Humminbird and Minn Kota will also be conducting seminars during the boat show. Additionally, attendees are welcome to come by Russell Marine‘s Booth 114 to meet wakesurf champions Jodi Grassman and Kane Ward.
Visitors can get lots of freebies as well. The first 500 people to arrive on Thursday will get a coupon for a free hot dog. On Friday and Saturday, the first 1,000 people will receive free fishing caps from Sylacauga Marine & ATV, Inc., Ranger Boats, and Tracker Boats, respectively.

Pinspiration’s Kids’ Night Out

Pinspiration is hosting a Kids’ Night Out event, where children can enjoy a night of fun and creativity. The event will feature a variety of crafts, delicious pizza, and exciting games. Upon registering for the event, participants will receive a handbook or registration pocket. Space is limited, so register early to secure a spot. Due to the limited availability, no refunds will be given.

Big and Little Chef: Savory Baked Goods

Participants are welcome to make and bring home their savory creations from this hands-on workshop. Get ready to whip up recipes like Cuban-Style Pinwheels, 3-Cheese Scones, Beef Stew Hand Pie, and Sausage and Pepper Calzone. There is an introductory price for a parent and child; however, you can add additional seats upon checkout. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. It is essential to know that some food and the cooking school facilities might have come in contact with common allergens like fish, eggs, milk, and peanuts.

ArtPlay Presents Vocabby’s World

This Artplay program engages children in an educational voyage that incorporates music and dancing to teach vocabulary related to vehicles of transportation like cars, boats, bikes, and planes. Not only does this give children a chance to expand their vocabulary, but it also allows them the opportunity to discover more about transportation and its impact on our world. Free books, curriculum, and art materials will be provided to reinforce the new vocabulary learned.
